Howard Johnson

It is with great pride as the Author of Bahamas Youth to showcase Mr Howard Johnson.
Howard Johnson was born in Governors Harbour, Eleuthera, Bahamas on 26th April 1978. He is the proud father of one son Keano Howard Johnson. This young man is inspired first of all by God and his mother Emily Petty who has been there at his side all of his life. This young man has walked through the valley and talks the talk, and although the road wasn't easy Howard didn’t give up. Howard interest involves basketball, the daily news, Politics, chatting online, reading and listening to music. He is also inspired by the likes of Martin Luther King Jr., Nelson Mandela, Bob Marley, and Sir Lynden O. Pindling the first Prime Minister of the Bahamas. This young man has achieved so much awards in his short life he was the Youth Ambassador to the United Nations for the Bahamas, also he was recognized as an outstanding youth in 2004 from the Government of the Bahamas just to name a few. He attended The College of The Bahamas from August 1998 to December 2000 pursuing an AA in Law and Criminal Justice. In the Fall of 2001, he relocated to Pensacola, Florida to attend the University of West Florida. At West Florida, he obtained a BA in Criminal Justice with a Minor in Political Science and a MPA in Public Administration specializing in Administrative Leadership. He is the co-founder of Island Group Development Association (IGDA), co-founder and Executive Member of Island Boyz Holding & Investment Company, Ltd. (IBHIC), and the founder of Island Boyz Communications, Inc., a consultancy firm and subsidiary of IBHIC. Howard just started up his own website http://bahamaspublius.blogspot.com/ where he voices his opinon about issues of today.
